In 2014, Open Mind, a new and exciting short film, hit the internet and gained critical acclaim. Recently, the Omar N’Diaye directed project was made into a full length film that will premiere in 2016! For those who do not know, Open Mind, the short film version, centered around two men that are taken into custody for question on a mysterious incident but one of the cops suspects one of the men have telekinesis. Besides co-director N’Diaye, this short film also stars Brian Gibson, Dominique Butler, Lindsey Jay, Jason Thompson, Andre Melton, Wale Awolesi, Michael McMillan, Octavia Latrice, Crevonte Murde, and Christian Smooth(The Student Body).
As a fan of the short film, I really am excited that N’Diaye decided to make it into a full length film! While the short film was great, I think the full length version will definitely add more background to the characters, as well as add more scenes to bring more intensity to the story. With Open Mind being released in 2016, the trailer was recently released and it is AMAZING! Check out the trailer to Open Mind below.
