Besides content, production, and talent, one of the key elements of a successful project is having a clever and intriguing title. Projects like Situationships and Giants have interesting titles that instantly catch viewer’s eyes and another one to add to the list is The Land of Milk & Honey. Written, produced, and created by Mueny ‘Miriam’ Kalala, The Land of Milk & Honey is a web series that follows Mel, an aspiring fashion designer/student, as she battles her way through life and the trials and tribulations that come with it. Lust, love, faith, and fear intertwine her with a group of other college students, who are all trying to find their own land of milk and honey. The question is: Will they ever make it or will they stand in the way of their own destiny? The Land of Milk & Honey stars Jourdan Danielle, Xavier Alvarado, Tamara Ross, Sierra Martin, Collins Uzowulu, Best Ohanugo, Opeyemi Jaieoba, Juwaan Johnson, Ijeoma Nzekwe, and Don Kennedy.

I recently saw the first three episodes of The Land of Milk & Honey and I believe this web series is fantastic. While there’s many other projects centered on college students, The Land of Milk & Honey does a great job of keeping viewers interested. The beginning of the web series focuses solely on Mel and her romance with Dre. Just as you think they might be the perfect couple that every lived, reality sets in as other characters are introduced and it’s revealed that some people aren’t who they pretend to be. After episode one, the story broadens from just Mel & Dre and characters like Mya, Nikki, and Jordan are introduced with more of their own personal stories.

All in all, The Land of Milk & Honey has all the right ingredients for a great web series! Besides an interesting title, the cinematography is wonderful. It almost feels as though you are watching an actual TV series by the way this show is shot. On top of that, the acting is up to par with some of the best and the endings of the episodes always leave you wanting MORE. Could this web series be anymore perfect?

If you’re a fan of The Land of Milk & Honey and would like to see a season two, you’re in luck! Kalala and the cast & crew are all ready getting things in store for the sophomore season and they would like to include something special for fans/viewers.
