Rising Star Deshawn White is proving to be Hollywood’s next trailblazer, See her as she makes her mark on the hit HBO show the Deuce this fall.
Deshawn White is a triple threat in her own right as she acts, produces and directs, is set to have a recurring role in season 2 of HBO’s hit show The Deuce which is set to premiere this fall. She will be playing the role of Chocolate, one of Rodney’s (played by Method Man) new girls.
A Maryland native and Brooklyn transplant, DeShawn came to the concrete jungle on a mission to conquer her dreams. With understanding her mission she has been able to land guest roles in notable shows such as TBS’ The Last O.G, NBC’s Law & Order: SUV and Netflix’s Jessica Jones as well as being a lead in a feature film Called Blood Conscious.
Through her work as an artist, she hopes to inspire and encourage women and girls of all ages that by following your heart and standing firm in your faith you can accomplish whatever you set out to do.
