Mame is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, with a B.A in Political Science and Africana Studies and minor studies in Business. There, she developed an immense passion for service and social justice, as she volunteered and worked with several humanitarian organizations. Upon graduating university, Mame entered her very first pageant and won the title of Miss Maryland USA 2015, and continued on to compete at Miss USA where she placed 4th runner-up.
She soon after starred in the hit television show created by supermodel and business mogul Tyra Banks. Mame stunned everyone with her modeling ability as she blasted the competition away to become the top female contestant on the show as well as earning the runner up spot in the overall competition. Mame soon after, relocated to Los Angeles, and is now a top model with NEXT Model Management with billboards and commercials for brands such as Lexus, Samsung, Intel, Pandora Jewelry, Free People, and more. She hopes to use her platform and use her talents to continue to work on her philanthropic endeavors; directing her own non-profit organization, The Mame Adjei Foundation, aimed at empowering young women and youth through teaching tools for personal and professional development.
