Diana McCray is a co-founder of Black Talent TV, a division of DAP Media Group, LLC. Her responsibility includes building strategic relationships, reviewing and approving film submissions, marketing, web design and brand development for the company. As a Black woman, Diana believes we can enhance cultural diversity by controlling the narrative of the stories we tell. She believes that we don’t need anymore filters. Diana is also a highly skilled marketing and communications specialist with 15+ years in PR and Marketing. She has a special interest in personal branding and helping filmmakers and entertainers create their signature brand on the digital landscape. She previously owned a public relations and marketing company that focused on the entertainment industry in New York where she provided marketing and public relations for entertainers. One of her clients was signed to a major recording label.
Philip Hernandez is a writer speclializing in the media & entertainment field. He is the Creative Director for Black Talent TV, a subsidiary of DAP Media Group and is a writer for this publication. Philip is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelors Degree in Journalism/Public Relations. On top of writing, Philip is also a huge fan of web series & short films–they are the central focus of the articles he writes.
Emma Laughlin is a lover of life and student at Western New England University studying Communications with a Public Relations & Management concentration. Once she graduates, she hopes she can put her degree towards creating a platform where she can speak about social issues and create an inclusive space for those who are struggling. Emma joined DAP Media Group as an intern over the summer of 2019, working with them on Black Talent TV. On top of her internship and school, Emma spends her time watching films, television series, and writing. Her ultimate goal is to make an impact on the world someday through her compassion for others and a dash of humor!
Symone Jackson is a Host for Black Talent TV”s Be in the talk. She has interviewed entertainers of all levels. Symone was also a podcaster for Alternative fashion where she interviewed prominent names in the Eco clothing business, Her experience reaches beyond podcasting , as she was a fashion blogger for Hot and Trendy Magazine. Symone brings many talents to the Black Talent Team. She currently lives in Port Orchard, Seattle and loves to express herself with music, movies an podcasting.
